Former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo is once again seeking the mayoral seat, confirmed her legal counsel, Atty. Stephen David.

According to David, Guo’s team is preparing all the necessary documents for her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) in the upcoming 2025 elections.

David emphasized that it will be up to the people of Bamban to decide whether they still want Guo in office.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has also confirmed that Guo will be allowed to file her COC despite previous legal issues.

Guo was ousted from her mayoral position in August by the Office of the Ombudsman due to grave abuse of discretion related to the operation of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Tarlac.
