Additional Relief Aid Delivered by DSWD to Typhoon Enteng Victims in Bicol

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has provided additional relief assistance to families affected by Typhoon Enteng in various parts of the country, particularly in the severely impacted Bicol Region.

In a statement, the agency announced the distribution of 15,000 family food packs to the region. These food packs were sourced from the agency’s Visayas Disaster Resource Center in Cebu City.

According to reports, 423 family food packs were distributed to Polangui, Albay through the DSWD Bicol Field Office, benefiting seven barangays.

Additionally, family food packs worth more than five million pesos were provided to Camarines Sur, benefiting 7,402 individuals.

The DSWD continues to coordinate with local government units in Bicol to address any additional needs.
