A delivery personnel was astonished to discover that eggs being transported from San Fernando, Pampanga, to Bocaue, Bulacan, had hatched into chicks due to an exceptionally prolonged traffic jam on NLEX.

The unusual incident, captured in a video shared by the delivery personnel, highlighted the severe delays experienced on the North Luzon Expressway, often exacerbated by persistent obstructions and widespread flooding.

This stretch of NLEX, particularly through low-lying areas in Pampanga and Bulacan, is frequently prone to significant congestion and flooding during heavy rains, leading to hours-long standstills that severely impact travel and commerce.

Such extended delays pose considerable challenges for logistics and the transport of perishable goods, as evidenced by this unique situation where the sustained warmth and time allowed the eggs to incubate.

Beyond the unexpected hatching, many of the eggs also broke during the arduous journey, adding to the losses incurred by the delivery.
