Olaivar was named during a Senate hearing by former Public Works Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo, who implicated several officials in an alleged kickback scheme related to infrastructure projects.
Olaivar earlier denied the accusations but expressed willingness to “fully cooperate with any and all proceedings.”
