Malacañang Suspends Gov’t Work and Classes Nationwide on Nov. 10 Due to Super Typhoon Uwan

Malacañang has announced the suspension of government work and classes at all levels nationwide tomorrow, November 10, 2025, due to the impact of Super Typhoon Uwan.

The Palace issued Memorandum Circular No. 106 ordering the suspension of classes and government work following the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin signed the circular, which covers the National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Regions 1, 2, 3, 4-A, 4-B, 5 and 7.

Malacañang emphasized that government offices responsible for delivering basic services will continue operations despite the suspension.

The Palace clarified that local chief executives may also declare suspension of work and classes in their respective jurisdictions.

Work suspension in private companies will remain at the discretion of their management.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has also announced the suspension of work in the chamber tomorrow in light of Super Typhoon Uwan.
