Meanwhile, at the Bustos Dam, three gates were opened, releasing water at a rate of 156 cubic meters per second after the water level reached 17.33 meters.

Due to this development, evacuations were ordered for residents living near rivers and in low-lying areas before the water was released from the dams.

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has advised Bulakenyos to prepare for possible flooding and landslides, particularly those residing in low-lying areas of the province.

In other parts of the province, such as the town of Marilao, 80 families were evacuated and brought to temporary shelters after being submerged in knee-deep floodwaters.
