Alan noted that most of the affected residents came from coastal areas in District 1 of Isabela, including Dinapigue, Echague, Palanan, and Angadanan.
Distribution of family food packs began yesterday and continues across the region.
DSWD data shows that 2,993 families or 9,049 individuals are currently staying in 265 evacuation centers.
Meanwhile, 625 families or 1,908 individuals have taken temporary shelter with relatives or neighbors outside evacuation centers.
No housing damage has been officially recorded yet, but local government assessments are ongoing and expected to yield more reports.
Alan added that 187 family food packs worth ₱114,706.92 have already been distributed to affected residents.
Monitoring and assessment efforts are ongoing to determine when additional food packs should be released.
On Monday, DSWD Region 2 held a coordination meeting with Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices (MSWD) to strengthen the use of the Disaster Risk Monitoring Tool.
Alan emphasized the challenge of accurately filling out real-time reports and stressed the need for continuous coordination with local social workers to ensure timely and accurate DROMIC reporting.
DSWD Region 2 assured the public that the agency remains ready to provide ongoing assistance to those affected by Typhoon Paolo.
