DOH Deploys Medical Teams to Bogo City After 6.7-Magnitude Earthquake

The Department of Health (DOH) has deployed medical teams to Bogo City and nearby towns to provide immediate assistance following the 6.7-magnitude earthquake that struck the area.

DOH personnel promptly conducted rapid assessments in affected communities to evaluate medical needs.

Doctors, nurses, and staff from DOH Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) and DOH Cebu South Medical Center (CSMC) have submitted safety reports confirming their status.

Simultaneously, DOH Centers for Health Development (CHDs) in Central and Eastern Visayas have also reported their operational conditions.

The DOH is working closely with the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in the region to ensure swift and coordinated disaster response.

Residents in affected areas are advised to follow all announcements and instructions from their local government units.
