The Philippine National Police (PNP) has yet to gain access to an alleged underground bunker within the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound, where fugitive cult leader Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused in child abuse and human trafficking cases are believed to be hiding.

A week has passed since police launched an operation to search the compound, but Quiboloy remains at large.

According to PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, authorities have been unable to enter the underground facility due to its depth and the lack of identified entry points.

She added that police have only been able to inspect alleged secret tunnels within buildings inside the compound.

Currently, law enforcement is utilizing ground-penetrating radar and other high-tech equipment in their ongoing search for the KOJC leader.
