Death Toll from Typhoon Crising Rises to Four — NDRRMC Reports

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed that the death toll from Typhoon Crising has climbed to four.

Fatalities include one from the CARAGA Region, two from Northern Mindanao, and one from the Davao Region.

Authorities are also verifying reports of three individuals injured and four others missing due to the storm’s onslaught.

According to NDRRMC data, 132,835 families—or approximately 420,355 individuals—have been affected nationwide.

The hardest-hit region is MIMAROPA, with 1,896 affected families, followed by Region 9 with 1,519 families impacted.

Power supply has already been restored in most areas previously affected by the typhoon.

Initial infrastructure damage is estimated at ₱165 million, based on NDRRMC assessments.
