The initiative aims to equip SIMBn personnel with skills for in-house design, prototyping, and fabrication of components, including those essential for the Army’s communication devices.

Lt. Gen. Galido emphasized that the project would reduce dependence on third-party suppliers and minimize operational delays.

He underscored that the collaboration marks a strategic leap under the Self-Defense Reliant Defense Posture (SRDP) Revitalization Act, promoting technological independence.

The Army Chief praised the Signal Regiment for its innovative approach and expressed hope that the partnership would serve as a blueprint for future modernization efforts.
