Philippine Army, US Forces Launch HIMARS in Joint Spartan Strike Exercise

The Philippine Army and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) troops successfully conducted a live-fire test of two High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) units during the “Operation Spartan Strike” exercise held at Canantong Fire Base, Laur, Nueva Ecija on June 30, 2025.

This marks a continuing collaboration following the HIMARS debut during Exercise Salaknib in 2023, demonstrating the system’s precision and mobility beyond current Philippine Army capabilities.
