Despite the clearance, Teves reportedly continues to experience abdominal pain following a recent surgical procedure.

Nevertheless, his legal team acknowledged this development and confirmed his return to detention at Annex 2 of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Bicutan, Taguig City.

The camp of Teves expressed gratitude to the medical team who oversaw his care and ensured his recovery while confined.
