Marcos Orders Swift Repatriation Measures for Filipinos in Iran and Israel

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed all concerned government agencies to implement appropriate measures to ensure the safety and orderly repatriation of Filipino workers who wish to avail themselves of the government’s voluntary repatriation program.

Filipinos from Israel who have arrived in Amman, Jordan are currently being processed for return to the Philippines or are awaiting flights after expressing their intent to go home.

Beyond prioritizing the safety and welfare of those seeking to return, the President also assured continued support for those remaining in the region through temporary shelter, food, and financial aid.

The Philippine government also announced a ₱150,000 assistance package per repatriate, which includes financial, transportation, accommodation, medical, and livelihood support.

Meanwhile, Malacañang urged Filipinos in Iran and Israel to contact the Philippine embassies or consulates in their area to assess their situation and determine the assistance the government can provide.
