Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren added 20 and 18 points, respectively, reinforcing the Thunder’s depth on both ends of the court.

Oklahoma City finished the year with a combined 84 wins across the regular season and playoffs, marking one of the franchise’s strongest campaigns.

This championship is the second in the team’s history, the first being in 1979 when they were still known as the Seattle Supersonics before relocating in 2008.

Indiana led 48-47 at halftime, but the Thunder surged ahead with a 34-20 third quarter to flip the momentum.

Despite Bennedict Mathurin’s impressive 24 points and 13 rebounds, Indiana continues to chase its elusive first NBA title.
