In a social media post, Marcos announced a joint initiative between Kanadevia Corporation and Philippine Ecology Systems Corp. for a waste-to-energy project aimed at managing waste and generating clean energy.

The President also shared that the Tsuneishi Group will construct the world’s first methanol dual-fueled KAMSARMAX bulk carrier in Cebu—a move expected to generate jobs and position the Philippines as a frontrunner in green shipping.

He added that stronger ties were built with Japan’s tourism leaders to attract more visitors to the Philippines and expand job opportunities for Filipino workers.

A meeting with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency opened new avenues for collaboration in space technology to enhance disaster monitoring, aid farmers, and boost community safety.
