Indian National Shot Dead in Koronadal City as police confirmed they are pursuing leads following the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old foreign resident in Barangay San Isidro.

The victim was identified as Manpreet Singh, a resident of Purok Masagana 2, Barangay Santo Niño, Koronadal City.

According to Barangay Captain Mark Aguirre of San Isidro, Singh sustained multiple gunshot wounds, particularly in the back, which led to his death.

Authorities were alerted in the early hours of Sunday by the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT), prompting the immediate response of the Koronadal City Police.

Responding officers discovered Singh’s body at the scene along with three spent bullet casings and his motorcycle, a Honda Click.

Police investigators are currently working to determine the motive behind the killing and have begun collecting and reviewing CCTV footage from the barangay hall.

Recovered CCTV recordings are being monitored closely as part of the intensified investigation to help identify potential suspects.

Law enforcement authorities emphasized that a thorough investigation is underway to clarify all details and bring the perpetrators to justice.
