In an exclusive interview with Star FM Cebu, he shared that he has been a licensed electronics engineer since 2001 and had long aspired to take this exam, finally finding enough time this year.

Despite being a father of four and actively teaching students, Pangan said his more than two decades of experience, including handling laboratory classes, gave him a significant advantage in acing the board and securing the top spot.

The 45-year-old admitted that time management was a major challenge, but said it became more manageable thanks to his supportive family.

He added that one of his main motivations for taking the Electronics Technician (ECT) exam was to serve as an inspiration to his children and students.
