Two Dead, One Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Camarines Sur

Motorcycle accident in Camarines Sur claimed the lives of two individuals and left another injured following a road mishap in Lagonoy town.

The fatalities were identified as Rebernard, 33, a resident of Brgy. San Isidro Norte, Lagonoy; and Nelson, 55, from Brgy. Zone 3, Maria Station, while the injured passenger was named Roberto, 33, also from Lagonoy.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Naga, PSMS Adrian Lirag, Assistant PIO of the Lagonoy Municipal Police Station, said the victims were riding a motorcycle driven by Rebernard, traveling from Brgy. Agosais to Brgy. Genorangan, when the driver lost control and veered off to the right side of the road.

According to Lirag, the motorcycle was speeding, which led to the fatal incident.

The victims sustained injuries to various parts of their bodies due to the impact of the crash.

Rebernard and Nelson were rushed to the nearest hospital but were declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.

Roberto, the other backrider, is currently recuperating in the hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities have once again reminded motorists to treat the incident as a lesson and avoid actions that endanger lives.
