More names have surfaced as alleged “beneficiaries” of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) confidential funds, according to a House of Representatives leader on Sunday.

Deputy Majority Leader and 1st District Representative Paolo Ortega 5th revealed names such as “Beverly Claire Pampano,” “Mico Harina,” “Patty Ting,” “Ralph Josh Bacon,” and “Sala Casim,” which he likened to items commonly found in markets or grocery stores.

According to Ortega, the OVP submitted these names to the Commission on Audit (COA), but checks with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed that they had no corresponding birth, marriage, or death records.

“If these individuals do not exist, then where did the funds go?” Ortega questioned.

He further revealed additional names—”Amoy Liu,” “Fernan Amuy,” and “Joug De Asim”—who were supposedly listed as recipients of the vice president’s confidential funds through the Department of Education (DepEd).

Similar to the previous names, PSA records showed no official documentation for these individuals.

Earlier, on March 16, Ortega had also reported that names such as “Dodong Alcala,” “Dodong Bina,” “Dodong Bunal,” “Dodong Darong,” and “Dodong S. Barok” appeared as recipients of OVP confidential funds.

When asked for her reaction, Vice President Sara Duterte, in an interview in the Netherlands, said she was unaware if those were the actual names submitted by the OVP.

Duterte is currently facing an impeachment case in the House of Representatives for alleged misuse of confidential funds, violations of the Constitution, and betrayal of public trust.

The case has now been forwarded to the Senate, which will convene as an impeachment court after the midterm elections in May.
