In a public statement, Hilario said it took him a year to complete the program using a modular system. Modules were sent to the students, who then had to find books for their research.

Hilario expressed delight in completing the course, given his hectic schedule as an artist and a Makati City Councilor. He added that he takes advantage of every opportunity to study, knowing that his career in showbiz will not last forever.

As for future political plans, Hilario said he is not running on a higher position in the 2025 elections.

A well-known Filipino actor, dancer, TV host, turned politician, he gained fame as a member of the dance group Streetboys in the 1990s.
