Family of Three Injured in a Tricycle-Car Collision

Three family members were injured after a car crashed into their tricycle in Barangay Cadagmayan Norte, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.

The victims were identified as Alyas Panoy, 66, the tricycle driver; his wife, Alyas Pane, 62; and their daughter, Alyas Ciara, 28, all residents of the said area.

The driver of the car was identified as Alyas Leon, 31, a resident of Maasin, Iloilo.

According to Police Captain Raphy Señeres, both vehicles were traveling in the same lane when the tricycle made a turn, leading to the collision.

The family was reportedly on their way home to Sta. Barbara when the accident happened.

Due to the strong impact, all three were thrown off their tricycle.

Authorities reported that the victims sustained head injuries and abrasions on various parts of their bodies.

Both parties are set to discuss a possible settlement regarding the incident.
