Reward for the Arrest of Suspect in Killing of 2 Bulacan Cops Now at P2.2 Million

The reward for the arrest of the suspect involved in the killing of two police officers in Bulacan has increased to P2.2 million.

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando confirmed that an additional P2 million reward was approved by the provincial peace and order council.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan also passed a resolution honoring the two slain officers, S/Sgt. Dennis Cudiamat and S/Sgt. Gian George dela Cruz of the Bocaue Police Station.

Earlier, the Central Luzon Police offered a P100,000 reward, while Bocaue Mayor Jonjon Villanueva pledged another P100,000.

The suspect, identified as alias ‘Athan,’ killed the two officers during an anti-illegal firearms operation conducted by police in Barangay Tambubong, Bocaue, on March 8.

Authorities arrested the suspect’s brother, alias ‘Dado,’ while alias ‘Athan’ remains at large.
