Anora wins big at the Oscars, emerging as the biggest winner at the 97th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on March 3, 2025.
The film took home four prestigious awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Film Editing.
Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, and Zoe Saldaña won Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress for their performances in “The Brutalist,” “A Real Pain,” and “Emilia Perez,” respectively.
Mikey Madison secured the Best Actress award for her role in “Anora,” surpassing heavy favorite Demi Moore.
“Anora” tells the story of a runaway romance between a sex worker and the son of a Russian oligarch.
