Actor Baron Frederick Von Geisler was detained for several hours at Police Station 6 of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) at around 3 AM on February 22, 2025.
MCPO Spokesperson Police Lt. Col. Mercy Villaro confirmed the incident in an exclusive interview with Bombo News, stating that Geisler allegedly caused a disturbance during a drinking session.
According to Villaro, authorities received an alarm at around 3 AM, and Geisler, who was believed to be intoxicated, was identified as the cause of the commotion.
As a result, Geisler was placed in the custodial facility for violating Mandaue City Ordinance No. 11-2008-434, which penalizes excessive drunkenness.
His brothers-in-law were the ones who had him detained after he allegedly started shouting in their area.
Villaro clarified that no one was harmed during the incident.
Geisler’s offense was classified as a misdemeanor, carrying a fine of only PHP 500.
After a few hours in detention, the actor was released and allowed to return home after his wife paid the necessary penalty.
The 42-year-old actor, who is married to a Cebuana, is one of the lead stars in the hit Netflix series Incognito.
