Mag-asawa na 84-taon nang kasal nagtala ng Guinness World Record

Isang mag-asawa sa Brazil ang ginawaran ng Guinness World Record title na “longest marriage for a living couple” dahil sa kanilang 84 na taon na pagsasama bilang mag-asawa.

Si Manoel Angelim Dino, 105, at Maria de Sousa Dino, 101, ay ikinasal noong 1940 sa isang kapilya sa Ceará, Brazil, matapos magkakilala noong 1936.

Sa loob ng halos isang siglo, nagpalaki sila ng 13 anak at ngayon ay may 55 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, at 12 great-great-grandchildren, isang napaka­laking pamilya na sumasalamin sa tatag ng kanilang pagsasama.

Bagama’t sila ang may pinakamahabang kasal sa mga nabubuhay, hindi pa nila nalalampasan ang longest marriage ever na tumagal ng 88 taon na hawak nina David Jacob Hiller at Sarah Davy Hiller ng Canada, na ikinasal noong 1809.

Isang inspirasyon ang mag-asawang Dino sa mga naniniwala na ang tunay na pag-ibig ay kayang tumagal habambuhay.
