Former President Rodrigo Duterte has once again accused President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of using illegal drugs.

Duterte made the allegation during his speech at a gathering of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP).

According to Duterte, Marcos’ alleged continued use of heroin may allow him to live until the age of 80, but he would remain immobile or bedridden.

This is not the first time Duterte has accused Marcos of drug use, a claim that the president has consistently denied.

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte criticized President Marcos, accusing him of leading the country toward an abusive government.

Speaking at the PDP-Laban proclamation rally, the younger Duterte likened Marcos’ leadership to the oppressive rule of his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Instead of progressing towards good governance, he claimed that the country is regressing into excessive and abusive leadership.

The renewed accusations come amid heightened political tensions, with the Duterte camp intensifying its attacks against the Marcos administration.
