Young SK Official Dies in Early Morning Motorcycle Collision

A Barangay SK official from Milaya, Midsayap, Cotabato, was killed in a tragic accident early this morning, January 25, 2025, in Barangay LIliongan, Carmen, Cotabato.

The victim, identified as Jolyvin Saliling Angganta, 25, was riding a red Rusi motorcycle when the collision occurred.

The other vehicle involved was a forward truck, driven by 62-year-old Johny Sabuero Estañol, a resident of the same area.

According to initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened around 7:40 AM when Angganta was heading to Sitio Makatak-tak, while the truck was on its way to Sitio Pulang Balay.

The two vehicles collided on the road, and the force of the impact caused Angganta’s motorcycle to slide under the truck.

Angganta was thrown from his vehicle and sustained fatal injuries, leading to his death at the scene.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, and both vehicles have been brought to the Carmen Municipal Police Station for further disposition.
