Two Motorcyclists Killed in High-Speed Crash

Two men lost their lives in a motorcycle collision in Gonzaga, Cagayan, on January 13, with their remains now claimed by their families.

PCPL Eufrasino Javier Jr. of the Gonzaga Police Station said the victims’ identities remain unknown as no identification cards or documents were found.

The victims were brought to Alfonso Ponce Enrile Memorial District Hospital by rescuers but were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Initial investigations revealed that both motorcycles were speeding when they collided on the national highway in Barangay Rebecca.

The impact of the crash caused both riders to be thrown off their vehicles, resulting in fatal injuries.

One motorcycle was heading toward Poblacion, while the other was en route to Santa Teresita from the opposite direction.
