DECORATED Army Green Beret, Matthew Livelsberger, 37, died in an explosive incident involving a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.

Authorities said Livelsberger left a note claiming the stunt was intended as a “wakeup call” for the nation’s problems.

Investigators identified Livelsberger, a Colorado Springs native, through a tattoo and DNA analysis.

Coroners determined he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before the explosion, which caused minor injuries to seven people but left the hotel largely undamaged.

Livelsberger’s note reportedly detailed his struggles with PTSD and guilt over lives lost during his military service.

Despite the incident’s location and the involvement of a Tesla vehicle, officials said there is no definitive evidence of a political motive.

“This was not a terrorist act. It appears to be a tragic case of suicide involving a decorated combat veteran facing significant mental health struggles,” said FBI Special Agent Spencer Evans.

Livelsberger served in the Army since 2006, earning five Bronze Stars and numerous accolades for his service in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and other assignments.

Pentagon officials confirmed he was on leave at the time of his death.

The Tesla explosion came hours after a separate terrorist truck attack in New Orleans, but FBI officials stated there was no evidence linking the two events.
