Security Guard Dies in P3.7M Robbery

A security guard from Compostela, Davao de Oro, was killed after being shot in a robbery incident in the area.

Authorities identified the victim as Dhonald James Pamisaran Crusio.

CCTV footage shows a man opening the door of a pickup truck parked in front of a commercial establishment.

A few minutes later, a female teller emerged carrying a bag of money, escorted by a security guard.

As the teller was about to board a vehicle, an individual armed with a revolver immediately got out and pointed the gun at the guard.

The guard resisted, prompting the suspect to shoot him. The victim was hit in the body and died on the spot.

The suspects took the bag containing P3.7 million.
