NGCP Spokesperson Atty. Cynthia Alabanza explained that if there are any remaining delays in SIS, they are still within the timeline stipulated under the regulation, and some of these have shown misalignments in the timeline.

Alabanza admitted that NGCP is indeed facing regulatory delays.

Alabanza assured that NGCP is now addressing this to avoid delays in the actual implementation of projects.

The House Committee on Legislative Franchise conducted a hearing today regarding the widespread brownouts that had a significant impact on the business sector and the projects being undertaken by NGCP.

According to House Committee on Legislative Franchise Chairman Rep. Gus Tambunting, today’s hearing is just a continuation where they want to know the truth behind the brownouts.
