38 Perish in Horrific Bus-Truck Collision

At least 38 people died in a bus vehicular accident in southeastern Brazil yesterday, December 21, 2024.

According to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, it is a devastating tragedy.

The accident occurred in Minas Gerais State, where the involved bus reportedly caught fire after colliding with another vehicle.

Police confirmed that 38 people died and nine were injured.

According to the investigation, a tire on the bus reportedly blew out, causing the driver to lose control and collide with a truck.

Furthermore, the cause of the high number of fatalities in the accident was the fire, which trapped the victims.
