Over 3,000 Pass December 2024 CPA Licensure Exam; UP Diliman Tops Schools

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 3,058 out of 10,136 examinees passed the December 2024 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants.

The exams were conducted by the Board of Accountancy in 18 testing centers nationwide.

The Board members include Chairman Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Vice Chairman Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, and Members Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator, and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan.

Online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards (IDs) and Certificates of Registration will start on January 28, 2025, via the PRC website.

Successful examinees are required to submit an accomplished Oath Form, notice of admission, two passport-sized photos with name tags, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.

The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony will be announced at a later date.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman emerged as the top-performing school, with 50 out of 51 examinees passing for a 98.04% passing rate.

De La Salle University-Manila ranked second with an 80.53% passing rate, with 91 successful examinees out of 113.
