18-Year-Old Student Dies After Motorcycle Crashes Into Apartment Wall

An 18-year-old student was killed after his motorcycle slammed into an apartment wall in Barangay 29, Sto. Tomas, Laoag City.

The victim was identified as Chyrus Abuloyan, a resident of Barangay San Marcos in Sarrat and a college student.

According to Police Master Sergeant Artemio Magaoay, Duty Investigator at the Laoag City Police Station Traffic Division, the accident occurred as the victim was heading eastward when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle veered off course and crashed into the wall of an apartment, resulting in severe head injuries.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Governor Roque B. Ablan Sr. Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities noted that the victim was not wearing a protective helmet at the time of the accident and was suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol.
