Siblings Killed in Motorcycle Collision with 10-Wheeler Truck

Two siblings lost their lives in a motorcycle collision with a 10-wheeler truck in Purok 2, Brgy. Soriano, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte.

The victims were identified as Rico and Marie Asenerio, both residents of Purok 1, Brgy. Cabinet, Cabadbaran City.

The truck driver, Wendel Oraño, 29, a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Babag, Moncayo, Davao de Oro, is in police custody.

Investigation revealed that the siblings were traveling toward Butuan City when their motorcycle skidded on the wet road due to rain.

The motorcycle veered into the opposite lane, colliding with the truck and pinning the victims underneath the vehicle.

Both were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital due to severe injuries sustained in the accident.

The Cabadbaran City Police Station is preparing legal charges against the truck driver as the investigation continues.
