CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao del Norte – Government forces arrested five members of a notorious drug syndicate in a successful joint law enforcement support operation on August 17, 2024 in the areas of Barangay Ambadao and Barangay Montay, both in Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur.

Brigadier General Donald M. Gumiran, Commander of the 602nd Brigade, confirmed that the operation targeted the Aliman Drug Syndicate Group, led by an individual known as “Sioling,” for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In addition to the narcotics, the raiding teams confiscated several high-powered firearms, including an M60 machine gun, a Winchester U.S. model rifle, multiple magazines, and a significant cache of ammunition, further disrupting the syndicate’s operations.
