According to Lucia Alan, director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 2, Quirino province has the highest number of affected families, with more than 69,000 households impacted by Typhoon Pepito.

Isabela follows with over 63,000 affected families, Cagayan with more than 56,000, Nueva Vizcaya with nearly 3,000, and Batanes with eight families impacted.

Alan reported that 5,320 families, or more than 17,000 individuals, remain in evacuation centers, while over 9,000 people are sheltering outside of the centers.

The DSWD also documented 449 totally damaged and 7,941 partially damaged houses across four provinces, with landslides in Nueva Vizcaya causing significant destruction, including 19 homes completely destroyed.

In response, DSWD has delivered relief to remote coastal barangays in Cagayan, such as Bulos Point in Gattaran, Valley Cove in Baggao, and Baguio Point in Penablanca, using a Philippine Air Force helicopter.

Financial aid of ₱50,000 has been given to the family of a drowning victim in Baggao, while families whose homes were destroyed by flash floods received ₱10,000 each.
