According to information from the Dumalag Police obtained by Bombo Radyo, an argument broke out between the brothers, which escalated when Walter allegedly drew a weapon and attacked Jose.

The victim sustained severe head injuries and other wounds. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Police are investigating a long-standing family feud as a possible motive behind the crime.
