Since yesterday, the towns of Lallo, Allacapan, Pamplona, Calayan, and Ballesteros have experienced widespread power outages.

Heavy rainfall and strong winds brought by Typhoon Marce impacted the province ahead of the typhoon’s landfall yesterday.

Task Force Lingkod Cagayan-Quick Response Team and MDRRMO-Gonzaga conducted emergency rescue operations in Barangay Tapel, evacuating fifty individuals.

Several overflow bridges in Peñablanca and Baggao have become impassable due to rising river levels, and a bridge in Sto Niño remains open only to light vehicles.
