Over 100 Families Evacuated in Pagudpud as Typhoon Marce Hits Signal No. 4

Over 100 families have been evacuated from Barangay Pancian and Barangay Pasaleng in Pagudpud as Typhoon Marce brought Signal No. 4 to the area.

The preemptive evacuation was confirmed by Mr. Hendrick Pedronan, head of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

Pedronan assured that sufficient food packs are available for the evacuees until Typhoon Marce subsides.

He also announced that the Department of Public Works and Highways has temporarily closed a section of the road at Sitio Banquero in Barangay Pancian due to a landslide.

The road closure began at 7 PM today and will last until 7 AM tomorrow, November 8, 2024.

Pedronan commended the swift response of the agency, ensuring the safety of motorists traveling through the affected area.
