Wind and Rain Warnings

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over parts of Northern Luzon, including Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, and surrounding provinces.

Areas under Signal No. 1 can expect winds of 39-61 km/h, presenting minimal to minor threats to life and property.

Coastal Hazards

A Gale Warning has been raised for Northern Luzon’s northern and eastern seaboards, with waves projected to reach up to 6.0 meters along Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Cagayan’s eastern coastline.

Sea travel in these areas is extremely dangerous, and PAGASA advises all vessels to seek safe harbor until conditions improve.

Forecast and Precautions

Marce’s current track indicates continued west-northwest movement, with a potential westward shift tomorrow, Nov. 6. Winds may increase further, possibly elevating the typhoon to Wind Signal No. 4 if it intensifies.

Residents in affected areas are advised to monitor local weather updates and take precautionary measures, especially those in coastal and mountainous regions at risk for gusts and flooding.

PAGASA advises the public to follow official instructions and closely monitor future updates as Marce’s trajectory and intensity may fluctuate.
