All five studio albums of British-Irish boyband One Direction have returned to the Billboard 200, following the untimely passing of Liam Payne.

Returning to the chart are the albums “Four” at No. 31, “Midnight Memories” at No. 38, “Made in the A.M.” at No. 62, “Up All Night” at No. 88, and “Take Me Home” at No. 103.

With these new feats, One Direction is now the first group this decade to simultaneously chart five albums on the chart.

During its initial release, four of the band’s albums hit No. 1, except for the group’s debut album “Up All Night” which logged a US No. 2.

“Made in the A.M.” was the band’s final release in 2015, before taking an indefinite hiatus. It was the first album without Zayn Malik who left the group earlier that year.

Meanwhile, a track from the band’s sophomore album “Take Me Home” hit number 1 for the first time since its release. The song “She’s Not Afraid” is at the top spot on Billboard’s LyricFind Chart this week. At No.2 on the same chart is “Loved You First”, another track from the same album.

One Direction earned their biggest streaming day of all time on Spotify, with 57.5 million streams, significantly surging due to news of Payne’s demise. The song “Night Changes” even made it as far as No. 6 on the global streaming chart.

Liam’s hits have resurged as well in both streaming and music charts. On October 28, he surpassed 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His final single “Teardrops”, released in March, made its first-ever appearance on the UK singles charts at #85. His debut studio album ‘LP1’ also returned to the top 100 on the UK albums chart at #62, higher than its original run.

Payne’s sudden death on October 16 sent shockwaves around the world, bringing millions of fans in mourning. The singer suffered 25 injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31.
