Woman Pushed Off Bridge by Drunk Men, Dies Due to Injuries

A woman believed to be around 50 to 60 years old, struggling with mental health issues, died after allegedly being pushed off a bridge by two intoxicated men in Barangay San Antonio, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

The suspects, identified as Wendell Angala Saldua, 37, and Feliciano Bisquera Paculdar, 48, both residents of the area, reportedly threw the victim from the bridge following a suspected altercation.

The woman, approximately 5’2″ tall with a thin build, was a resident of La Union, according to authorities.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo Vigan, Barangay Captain Alex Gomez shared that two witnesses, Laurence Adona Montero and Glenn Calixterio Cachola, saw the suspects push the woman from the bridge after she appeared to resist their approach.

Captain Gomez added that one suspect also reportedly held the victim down before pushing her off.

A search lasting three hours ended when the victim’s body was found, and the two suspects are now under the custody of the Narvacan Police Station for processing.
