Some passengers and vehicles have been stranded for four to five days due to the extensive flooding caused by the typhoon’s impact on the Bicol Region.

Meanwhile, the route from Legazpi City to Naga City, Naga City to Iriga City, and Naga to Partido has been reopened for passage.

According to PLtCol Chester Pomar, spokesperson for the Naga City Police Office, traffic delays and slow movement are still expected due to residual flooding in areas neighboring Naga City, despite the reopened roads.

Heavy traffic is also reported on Maharlika Highway from Naga to Pili in Camarines Sur, with authorities closely monitoring and managing the flow to prevent congestion and accidents.

Officials advise extra caution, as sections of the road remain flooded, posing risks to vehicles.

Naga City’s Incident Management Team has urged the public to avoid non-essential travel into Naga’s city center, as heavy traffic continues to disrupt clearing and relief operations.
