1 Dead, 2 Injured in Motorcycle-Truck Collision in Cauayan City

A construction worker was killed in a road accident involving two motorcycles and a truck in Cauayan City.

The victim was identified as 62-year-old Laudencio Cabang, a resident of Sinamar Norte, San Mateo, Isabela.

According to San Mateo Police Station, two motorcycles and an Isuzu truck with sidings were involved in the collision.

The truck was driven by 31-year-old Kaycee Bautista, also a resident of Sinamar Norte.

Initial investigations revealed the truck was exiting from a barangay road when Cabang’s approaching motorcycle collided with it, along with another motorcycle driven by 37-year-old Romeo Diaz with back rider Tirso Domingo, both from Salinungan West.

The strong impact left both motorcycle drivers and the back rider injured.

They were rushed to the hospital, where Cabang was declared dead on arrival.
