Bombo Radyo and Star FM’s Dance Showdown Thrills Masskara Festival Despite Heavy Rain

Bombo Radyo and Star FM’s Dance Showdown Competition at the Masskara Festival 2024 was a success, even as heavy rain poured over Bacolod City.

Despite the downpour, enthusiastic supporters turned out to cheer on their favorite dance groups.

The crowd enjoyed interactive games and eagerly caught free T-shirts thrown by event organizers, laughing through the rain as they watched performances by the cast of the popular radio drama, Toyang Ermitanya.

The lineup included performances by United Dance Troupe, One Industry, Plan B Dance Crew, Buclod Dance Crew, Mongolock, Crazy Beats, Legazy, The Merge, United Freestylers, and Danzakin.

United Freestylers claimed the championship title with a score of 97 percent, taking home the PHP 15,000 cash prize.

Danzakin followed as first runner-up with a score of 95 percent, winning PHP 10,000, while Mongolock secured second runner-up with a score of 92 percent, receiving PHP 5,000.
