According to Co, Bicol has one of the smallest allocations for national road and flood control projects.

He explained that the administration, along with House Speaker Martin Romualdez, prioritizes flood control integrated with the National Irrigation Administration’s water management to strengthen food security.

Co added that flood control projects are tied to the NIA’s irrigation facilities to support agricultural irrigation needs.
