According to the police, the suspect shot Rodriguez three times with a .38 revolver while she was seated near her mother’s store on Comet Street in Barangay Tumaga.

Rodriguez was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor.

The suspect fled the scene, and authorities are still working to identify the assailant.

An initial investigation suggests that a serious dispute between Rodriguez and some relatives may have led to her murder.
