Man Killed in Tricycle Crash After Losing Control, Collides with Post in Cagayan

A man was declared dead on arrival following a crash involving his tricycle in Brgy. Bitag Grande, Baggao, Cagayan.

PLT. COL. Osmundo Mamanao of the Baggao Police identified the victim as 27-year-old Leo Tabillo, a resident of Sitio Tueg, Bitag Grande.

The police received a report from a concerned citizen regarding the accident.

According to the investigation, the victim was on his way to Brgy. Poblacion when he lost control of the steering wheel of his tricycle.

The tricycle overturned and struck a large post. Due to the impact, the victim sustained injuries on various parts of his body.

He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending doctor.

Authorities revealed that the victim was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
